Children
Sunday Mornings
Beginning Fall 2019, children's Sunday School will include two classes for children ages 3-kindergarten and 1st-3rd grade. We are currently in Year 3 of an excellent children's curriculum entitled Generations of Grace. Check out the blog for more information.
Wednesday Nights
Wednesdays nights are the time in which our most concentrated children’s ministry takes place. Our goal is to connect the church and home. Classes are available for children beginning at age 3. The curriculum we use is The Gospel Story Curriculum. This year, after four years of looking at gospel in the Old Testament, children will be beginning the New Testament, spending the whole year looking at the life and ministry of Jesus. 6:30pm on Wednesdays during the school year.
Young Adults
Wednesday Nights
A class for Jr. High students (5th-7th grade) meets on Wednesday Nights. This year, the group will be diving deeper into the topics of the Gospel, Jesus, and how we should understand our personal identities in light of God's word. 6:30pm on Wednesdays.
A class for Sr. High (8th-12th grade) also meets on Wednesday nights. Usually a school year is devoted to a particular theme (Core Christian Doctrines, Old Testament, New Testament, Worldview). This year, the group will be looking at the topic of Discipleship: Following Jesus. Sub-topcis include a Christian Worldview, Christian Outreach, and the Christian Life. Click here to see the schedule for the year. 6:30pm on Wednesdays during the school year, taught by pastor Scott Ristau.
Retreats
Youth retreats typically happen in the Summer. For many years, high school and college-age students have travelled to Bluewater Lake in the forests of Northern Minnesota for time to focus and recalibrate their relationship with God while relaxing, relishing the beautiful Northern Minnesota landscape, and enjoying lots of games and water recreation.
