Adult Ministry (college+)
We have a Men’s Bible/theology study that meets at 7:00am on Tuesday mornings. A simple breakfast is provided. After over a year in the book of Genesis, we are currently working through a book by David Powlison entitled Good & Angry - Redeeming Anger, Irritation, Complaining, and Bitterness.
Periodically, we have individual men’s events/retreats/conferences, as announced. We have travelled for events like the Together for the Gospel (T4G) conference in Louisville, KY, as well as to places like the Boundary Waters of northern Minnesota.
Women’s Bible studies take place periodically, often for short seasons. In the past women have met in larger and smaller groups to study books of the Bible like Nehemiah, James, 1 Peter, as well as biblical studies like Seeing Jesus in the Old Testament.
On Wednesdays, we have classes for children and youth. During this time, adults meet for a class covering a wide range of topics, taught by pastor Sam Ellyson. This Spring, adults (ages 18+) will be continuing to look at the topic of idolatry and how it compromises our realtionship with God and others. A key resource for this study will be Gospel Treason: Betraying the Gospel with Hidden Idols by Brad Bigney.
